Frequently asked questions
Direct answers about implementation.
These answers explain what the service can implement, why assessment comes first and where human responsibility remains.
The practical model
What gets implemented—and how decisions are made.
Implementation is the primary proposition. Qualification, assessment, separate scope and human accountability still govern the work.
Do you actually build and implement AI systems?
Yes. When the evidence supports a separately scoped implementation, the work can include configuration, integration or development, testing, documentation, adoption support and improvement. No specific result is guaranteed.
Do you only provide strategy?
No. Strategy and assessment guide practical delivery; they are not the endpoint. The Focused Assessment can also conclude that implementation should not proceed.
Do you deploy AI agents?
Controlled agents are one option, not the default answer. They are considered when the task, evidence and risk support defined objectives, permissions, review, fallback and stop conditions.
Can you work with the software we already use?
Yes. Existing-tool configuration and integration are considered before unnecessary custom work or new infrastructure.
Does every engagement require custom software?
No. Process repair, existing software, deterministic automation, deferral or no implementation may be more appropriate.
Will AI replace employees?
Workforce reduction is not promised. The principle is to automate repetition, not responsibility, while supporting people through changes in how work is performed.
Can you work across several departments?
The Fractional AI Department model can coordinate priorities across departments over time. Company-wide does not mean changing every department simultaneously.
Why begin with an assessment?
The assessment defines the problem, evidence, owners, baseline, options and risk before a larger commitment. It selects the first justified action without assuming AI is the answer.
What happens after the first implementation?
When separately agreed, the Fractional AI Department can support adoption, measurement, maintenance, new priorities and continuous improvement within bounded capacity.
